This short WoW Leveling Guide will give both Horde and Alliance players valuable tips to play more efficiently. You’ll find yourself leveling much faster after using these strategies.

Always play your character rested.

Rested characters receive double experience points (XP) from killing any monsters that you encounter. By building up a toon’s rested bonus to the maximum level over a couple of days, you can potentially finish numerous quests and get the double XP bonus the entire time. So remember, the rested bonus is your friend. Why waste time if you don’t have to?

Green quests are your objective.

They’re fairly easy and give the biggest bang for the buck. By doing quests above green you’ll find that you will die several times in the process if you are mobbed by multiple monsters at a time. Your armor will incur more damage, which means more time wasted while you dash back to the nearest town to repair.

While leveling up, avoid instances.

Though the loot may be great, the truth is you will not be leveling in an instance as fast as you would on a regular quest or two in the same amount of time.

Group quests together.

Every time you go into a new zone, try to grab as many new quests as possible. Scan through the quest details and try to cluster together as many quests that are in the same direction at one time. This will save you tons of time running from one end of the zone to the other trying to finish quests.

Go to other areas. If you have finished all the easier quests in your own race’s starting areas, do not be afraid to travel to another part of the continent or even to the other continent to aim at those easy green quests. You will find that the extra XP from completing so many quests at a rapid pace will turn you into a power leveler before you know it.
