By cleaning inside the tank, the walls and bottom of it are scrubbed and washed. Most often a contractor is hired to do this work. But, any person can clean their own tank if they wanted. This can be done with a high pressured water hose. It’s also a good opportunity for a person to check for leakage or cracking on the tank walls.
