When you begin to feel that you and your partner are becoming less attached emotionally, it is vital that you two begin to actively try to repair your emotional bond. Make an effort to spend quality time together and work out any issues within your relationship so that both parties feel that connection again. Honesty is very important at this stage so be sure to communicate your needs so that your partner can understand what they can do the help repair the relationship.
Emotional cheating can break up a marriage or relationship just as much as physical cheating. Sometimes, emotional cheating can be even more detrimental because of the investment involved with developing an emotional bond with your partner. Having that bond shattered is a terrible betrayal.
