Your boyfriend is gone with the wind. It’s left you feeling cold and alone in a way you never remember feelings these two things before. You can’t figure out what went wrong and all you want to know right now is: “How do I make him want me back?”

It’s a good question to ask in your situation but one that needs more than a little thoughtful consideration. The first main concern is whether or not you really want him back or just think you should want him back.

Reflect on some important questions before deciding to pursue this endeavor.

Do you really love your ex boyfriend?

Do you believe your relationship was truly happy?

Is your ex boyfriend still in love with you?

Did he love you?

Would you still take a bullet for him?

Were there more good memories than bad ones of the two of you together?

Do you think that your relationship was written in the stars?

Why do you want him back?

Why do you love him?

These aren’t the most difficult questions to answer but nonetheless, questions that are important for you to answer before deciding to make him want you back. When you finally do, it would be embarrassing to impulsively conclude that you didn’t want him in the end.

Let’s presume that you want him to want you back. There are ways but, you might be surprised by the ways you can increase the chances of him wanting you back!

Stay Happy Even Without Him

Guys can’t stand this. It will drive him crazy to see that you’re not only surviving without him in your life but THRIVING without him there. Don’t let him see you curled up and crying. Don’t put on 15 extra pounds digging into the nearest gallon of Godiva’s best ice cream. Don’t let him see you suffer.

Let others see how well you’re doing without him and the word will get back to him. If nothing else he’ll feel a little twinge that perhaps you didn’t miss him as much as he would have liked. But more likely than not he’s going to want to know why you’re doing so well without him. Curiosity is a POWERFUL motivator.

Let Him Take The First Step

Don’t try to call him. He won’t be able to take you off his mind when you stay under the radar. He expects you to crawl back to him, begging for another chance. He will be looking forward to you, giving him a ring and give him his things back.

Without you making the first step, he will be forced to. He will call you, find you and come over to get his stuff. This will be a very big distraction in his part to see that you are not playing his game. Instead, you go and set your own rules.
